SEDIBENG.- Relebohile Mofokeng is expected to rescue his Belgian club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, after he did not feature in the first leg.

Mofokeng watched from the bench as his side played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Bodo/Glimt in the first leg.

He is expected to make his Champions League debut as this is a must-win game for Saint-Gilloise, who will travel to the Aspmyra Stadium in Norway on August 11. Mofokeng’s side comes into this encounter under pressure to beat Bodo/Glimt on their own turf, which seems an impossible mission after the Norwegian side held Saint-Gilloise to a draw at home.

Saint-Gilloise had to dig deep against Bodo/Glimt, and the Belgian side will look to Mofokeng to produce the magic that saw the club secure his signature from Orlando Pirates. There was much anticipation that Mofokeng would make his debut in the first leg, but he had to wait for the second.
