  • The number of entries per person is not limited. Each entry must have a completed entry form attached. A selection of printed entries will be displayed at Photo Freedom Shelly Beach.

  • Contestants must be amateur photographers.
  • Minor digital enhancements for cropping, red eye removal, filters and corrective functions are permitted, but images that have been judged to be altered in any significant manner will be disqualified.

  • By submitting a photograph for entry into this competition, the photographer agrees that Photo Freedom and Caxton Newspapers may use the images as they deem fit for advertising and marketing purposes. • Employees of Photo Freedom and Caxton Newspapers are not eligible to participate.
  • Photographs of people must be taken within the Hibiscus Coast region, and must be appropriate to be displayed publicly and to all age groups. Any photographs deemed inappropriate by judges will be disqualified.
  • In the event that ownership of any submitted photograph is contested in any manner, the organisers reserve the right to disqualify the photograph from the contest.
  • Any entries which fail to comply with the contest rules will be disqualified.
  • The panel of judges will select the finalists. The public will then be asked to vote, determining winners for first, second and third places.
  • The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
