MEMBERS of the Umtentweni Ratepayers’ Forum recently photographed piles of litter and building materials that had been strewn behind the Oribi Plaza shopping mall in Port Shepstone.
The Herald received an email from the forum pointing out that this disgusting sight greets shoppers who drive behind the mall.
The forum’s members say it’s been an ongoing problem which the Hibiscus Coast Municipality (HCM) has not dealt with properly.
Emails were also sent to the relevant councillors.
The forum suggested that HCM issue fines to those responsible and have an onsite meeting with those concerned to sort out the problem once and for all.
