Food fair tempts tastebuds

Gastronomes enjoyed a feast of food from all over the world.

FROM early morning a mouth-watering aroma descended over Port Shepstone last Saturday. And visitors to the international food festival were treated to a feast of flavours.

Christ the King Catholic Church hosted the festival fund-raiser at the St Martin de Porres school grounds. Apart from the culinary delights from a variety of different countries that was available for sampling, there was also a wine tasting stall, and a tea garden.

Visitors could also work off the calories by taking part in the many games on offer or simply relax and listen to the mellow live music. The weather played along and enticed South Coasters to make the most of the sunshine and enjoy some fine food to boot.
