Duo Mo and Mari gave a splendid performance at Margate Retirement Village

Mo and Mari sang hits from the '90s such as Bette Midler's 'Together Wherever We Go', Johnny Rodriguez's 'Somewhere between your Heart and Mine' and many more.

A collaborative musical performance by Mo McColl and Mari Webster had music lovers’ attention glued to the stage last Thursday.

The well attended ‘Fun Concert’ was held at the Ronnie Baker Hall at Margate Retirement Village.

Mo and Mari ensured the audience was kept entertained throughout the concert as they told jokes in between their performances.

Mo and Mari sang hits from the ’90s such as Bette Midler’s ‘Together Wherever We Go’, Johnny Rodriguez’s ‘Somewhere between your Heart and Mine’ and many more.

There were many costume changes from Asian costumes to anything that included genre-specific, song-specific and era-specific outfits.

Mo’s solo performance of Josh Groban’s ‘You raise me up’ was described by one member of the audience as a splendid performance that ‘gave goosebumps.’

There were also a number of raffles and prizes won during the show.

Guests said they were excited to have Mo and Mari put some spark on at the village.

“We always look forward to their performances; they are a great duo,” said one delighted guest.
