Ugu District Municipality promises to sort out water account issues

Customers who have had problems with their bills are encouraged to contact the municipality.

Ugu has pleaded with its customers to be patient with the municipality’s billing system following its recent migration to a new system.

Customers who have had problems with their bills are encouraged to contact Ugu and those who have not received their accounts are urged to pay their monthly average fees.

“We plead with customers to be patient with us while we are working towards ensuring this system is fully functional. In the interim, customers are urged to pay their monthly average charges and all accounts will be rectified and accordingly updated once the system is fully functional,” said customer care manager Zimbini Ntlangula.

Ms Ntlangula apologised for any inconvenience that may have been caused and said they were confident that this matter would be sorted out as soon as possible.
