Lower South Coast Women in Business meet over prayer lunch

Guest speaker, businesswoman Azola Tshobonga, told women who attended the prayer lunch to plan, communicate, implement and review their plans if they wanted to succeed in their businesses.

Running a business can often be time consuming and at times strenuous for women who also have to run their homes, but these were considered as minor setbacks for women determined to ‘trade successfully’, the theme for the Lower South Coast Women in Business Forum women’s prayer lunch held at Stages Restaurant recently.

Local businesswomen from different fields were given tips on how to run their businesses.

“A plan without implementation is a waste; ensure that your plans are also flexible in case you have to make changes.”

Pastor Lindiwe Shozi prayed for the women and read out Colossians chapter 3 verses 23 to 25: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.”

Pastor Shozi encouraged women to work hard and encourage their staff to do the same. She also told women that they should consider themselves blessed for having businesses and reminded them to treat their staff justly and fairly knowing that they also have a master in heaven.
