More than 60 people were tested, and three shopping trolleys full of groceries and several cash donations were collected from generous shoppers, in the space of just three hours. The groceries were sorted, packed and delivered to the Hibiscus Food For Life organisation.

Lion Ladies’ president Marcia McGarry and Lion Alastair Warman collect groceries.

Harbourview SuperSpar management has set up a display of Lions’ Christmas cakes within the supermarket and will be selling the cakes on behalf of the club. All proceeds will go towards the club’s service projects. Anyone interested in purchasing a Christmas cake can contact Lion Alastair Warman on 083 4593364.
