Fund-raising breakfast inspires South Coast women

Next year's breakfast has already been booked.

The third ‘South Coast Women’s Breakfast’ hosted and arranged by Estelle Symcox of RE/MAX Coast and Country was another roaring success, with a full-house of 250 women at the Sugar Beach Resort in Elysium.

Guest speaker Alison Botha shared her story which provided insight into her life’s journey.

Alison survived being abducted, raped, stabbed and disembowelled by Frans du Toit and Theuns Kruger in Port Elizabeth in 1994.

Belly dancers Michaela Beukes (left) and Lee-Anne Botha with renowned local sax player Christopher Pillay did a superb job entertaining guests.

Local musician Christopher Pillay and belly dancers from Arabian Secrets put on a great show.

The new partnership between Sugar Beach Resort and Estelle Symcox did not disappoint. Funds collected were donated specifically to Cancer Association of South Africa for breast cancer.

Guest speaker Alison Botha kept the audience captivated.

Next year’s event, which has already been booked, promises to be even bigger with the Jes Foord Foundation the nominated charity.
