Here is all you need to know about next week’s voting.
* The polling stations will be open on Monday, May 27 and Tuesday, May 28 from 09:00 to 17:00 – only for voters who applied for and were granted a special vote.
On the above days, the Electoral Commission of South Africa, together with ward councillors, will go to the homes of all the frail and infirm voters who applied for and were granted a special home vote.
* Election day is Wednesday, May 29, and the polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00.
Remember that you have to take your ID with you to the polling station and that you can only vote at the voting station where you are registered.
The Department of Home Affairs is open this week from Monday to Friday if you require a temporary ID. It will also be open this Saturday for temporary IDs.
