Storm causes multiple power outages on South Coast

Eskom teams are on the ground and are working to restore power to everyone.

After the wet weather experienced on the South Coast last night (January 22), many towns are facing electricity outages.

Eskom stated that customers in Scottburgh, Dududu, Park Rynie, Freeland Park, Umkomaas and Umzinto are affected.

Eskom teams are on the ground and are working to restore power to everyone.

The public is reminded to treat all electrical installations as live and dangerous as supply can be switched on without notice.

Stay clear of all fallen or damaged infrastructure and report dangerous situations as well.

Use either the Alfred Chatbot, MyEskom Customer App or the Eskom contact centre on 086 0037566.
