Luccia Nkohla won the best actress award at the Thokoza Film Festival which took place at the Sam Ntuli Sporting Complex on October 29.

She won in the category of South African Short Film. The name of the film is Broken Prayer and her co-actor is Dave Ngcobo.

These actors are part of Ayanda Films, based in Turffontein. Last year they scooped the best local film award at the Live Your Dreams Youth SA Awards in Durban for their production called Ithuna The Restless Souls.
