Springbok flyhalf Morne Steyn admitted on Friday morning it's not always great to come off the bench as Handre Pollard started for the Boks in their last two Tests.

Before the Boks’ departure to Perth on Sunday Steyn said however ‘he is not the coach’ and he just wants to contribute for the side.

“Handre has been doing great, and I don’t see myself coaching him but at the same time I am sure I am able to learn him a few things along with Pat (Lambie),” said Steyn.
