Eighthman Derick Minnie has regained the Lions captaincy armband for this weekend's Jukskei derby against the Blue Bulls at Loftus.

Lions coach Johan Ackermann named Minnie as new skipper after wing Lionel Mapoe captained the side last weekend against the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth.

Flyhalf Jaco van der Walt also returns from his knee injury which sees Andries Coetzee moving back to fullback.
