Only the 20 contracted Boks have been frozen for a training camp in Stellenbosch from October 20 to 24.

Injured Boks who will attend the camp unclude lock Flip van der Merwe,  loose forwards Willem Alberts and Siya Kolisi and prop Coenie Oosthuizen.

It means non-contracted players like Whiteley, Pollard, Sharks scrumhalf Cobus Reinach and Cheetahs flank Oupa Mohoje, could return for this weekend’s action.

This weekend is the final round of the Currie Cup before the play-offs with the Lions hosting the Cheetahs, the Sharks travelling to Newlands to challenge the top-of-the-log Western Province, while the Blue Bulls host the Griquas and the battling Kings play host to the Pumas.
