SA Sevens star and Sharks rugby player Werner Kok has asked the public to be on the look out for his Sevens gear after jerseys and other items were allegedly stolen from a storage facility in Cape Town.

Kok, a veteran of the Blitzboks team, took to twitter on Friday to announce the news.

He said: “I have been dreading this … All of my Springboks Sevens jerseys were stolen, 10 years of hard work stolen in five minutes.”

Kok further added: “No amount of money can buy this. Please keep sharing and spreading the word.”

The 28-year-old, who also played for Western Province and Toulouse, has made 184 Blitzboks appearances and won gold medals at the World Games and Commonwealth Games in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Kok also has a bronze medal from the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze from the 2018 Sevens World Cup.
