Augusto Palacios says he is happy with his assistants as he sets to stabilise Orlando Pirates after taking over on Wednesday following Muhsin Ertugral’s resignation.

The veteran coach will be assisted by Bradley Carnell and Benson Mhlongo who was drafted into the technical team on Thursday as a second assistant.

Palacios said none of the assistants will be there just to put up the markers at training, but all will be actively involved as he wants to impart his experience to them and he was sure to learn something from them as well.

“They are there to learn and grow with me. I will treat Mhlongo the same way I treat Carnell. I have known them for a long time. I am happy with them,” said Palacios.
