Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson says his trickster Masibusane Zongo job is to take the pace of a game down with his skills, but he gets the same instructions as every winger in the team.

Zongo was his usual self in the team’s 2-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs last Wednesday, showing some brilliant moves in the game, but lost possession at times. However, Johnson insists it is important to have a player of Zongo’s calibre when they play teams such as Chiefs.

“He plays to the same instructions as the wingers gets. He is on one of the wingers that unites and comes to the party in order to be positive going forward. The tricks of flicks whatever he does on the pitch are just to slow the game down, because you know what happens when you play against Chiefs, they come in hard at you,” said Johnson.

“There were moments where he slowed the game for us and on Wednesday he was little bit more positive, and yes, sometimes once or twice he lost the ball.”
