A deal for the Nigerian international to join Pirates was reported to have been completed, however it didn’t materialise.
“To me it doesn’t make any sense, I guess that is just how football it is so life goes on. Whatever happened in the transfer season is past to me I just want to focus on Chippa United and do well for the season,” said the defender.
The skipper says he is happy with the team’s new recruits who have adjusted very well at the club during the preseason.
“So far I think the team has been doing well, trying to get fit and be ready for the season. Also trying to get well with the new guys with a couple of friendlies that we have been playing,” he added.
“The boys are promising and they are very good. They are doing well and have blended quite well with the team and I think that is a bonus for us.”
Okwuosa was one of the key player’s at the club helping the team finish on position sixth on the log for the first time in the club’s history.
