The coach is, however, happy with his contribution to the team thus far.
“Oupa has spent months on the sidelines. He needs time, and he can only get that by playing. I’m very happy with him. Nobody can tell you how soon he will be back to his best,” said the Turkish international.
“It is also psychological, and we need to manage that as well. People look at his form and ignore that he suffered a difficult injury. In his position, he gets stuck in, it’s not easy right now,” he added.
The Pirates captain has started all the team’s games this season after recovering from a gruesome ankle injury that kept him out for the rest of season last year in September.
