Letsholonyane played a vital role in the team’s 6-1 hammering of Orlando Pirates this week, scoring the equalising goal after Tendai Ndoro's opening goal.

SuperSport United midfielder Dean Furman sang praises of Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane, saying the midfielder was a good role model and many players at the club were learning a lot from him.

Letsholonyane played a vital role in the team’s 6-1 hammering of Orlando Pirates this week, scoring the equalising goal after Tendai Ndoro’s opening goal, and he was subsequently given the man-of-the-match award.

“He is top professional. One of the important things about him is that he knows how to get the job done, and he has won many trophies,” said Furman.

“To play alongside him it is an absolute pleasure for me. I think we complement each other well, and I give him a lot of freedom to go forward and do his thing.”

Furman and Letsholonyane will certainly be looking to carry the same momentum from the Pirates win into this weekend’s Tshwane derby with Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinal tie at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
