Cape Town City captain Lebogang Manyama says the team’s strong attacking pace, which comprises him, Bongolethu Jayiya and Judas Moseamedi, has been thriving because they understand each other very well, having played alongside one another for some time now.
The trio has scored nine of the clubs 19 goals this season, and Manyama is also looking forward to striker Lehlohonolo Majoro to find the back constantly, having registered three goals thus far.
“We have played together for a few seasons, so we understand each other well and know how to combine with each other. It’s good that we have chipped in with goals. Majoro has also started to score – we’re confident in his abilities and that he’ll also be finding the net regularly through the season,” Manyama was quoted on the PSL website.
Manyama will certainly be hoping they get the goals they need when they go up against Free State Stars in the first semifinal of the Telkom Knockout at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
