Motebejane was one of the promising players to come out of the 2016 SAB national league championships held in Limpopo, where he was snapped up by the Buccaneers alongside Yusuf Maart who was representing the Western Cape at that time.

The 20-year old Motebejane, however, failed to live up to expectations at Bucs, which saw him leave the club after just one season in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.

Tshakhuma were played in the ABC Motsepe League last season but failed to make the playoffs after finishing third in the standings.

The club bought the status of Cape Town based outfit Milano United and relocated to Limpopo.
