“To be honest I admire Percy and I talk a lot with Percy and he told me what to do and what not to do.
“For me I will say that he is my player of the season,” Ekstein told reporters.
Meanwhile, Ekstein is determined to help Amakhosi end their trophy drought by winning either the Nedbank Cup or the league title.
“I would like to win a trophy with Chiefs so that when I retire I can say I have brought a trophy to the chairman and the Kaizer Chiefs family.”
