We got big headed – Baroka captain

Baroka FC captain Letladi Madubanya bemoans his side's poor finish to the season, having started the 2017/18 season on a high note.

The Limpopo based outfit got off on a good start by winning the Q-Innovation, pocketing more than R1 million in the first quarter.

Madubanya says they got lost in the hype that came with sitting at the summit of the log table and being title contenders.

“If you look at my team we have had a lot of youngsters coming into the team. We got big headed, we got that chip on our shoulder, so I think this is a good lesson. It is unfortunate that it had to go down to this but experience will be a teacher in this case,” Madubanya was quoted as saying by Limpopo Sports Zone.

Bakgakga could find themselves playing in the promotion playoffs if they lose their last game against SuperSport United on Saturday.
