SuperSport on the rise – Igesund

SuperSport United coach Gordon Igesund believes his side are on the verge of a revival, having endured an indifferent start to the season.

“We worked very hard and the players are responding well. The spirit is very high in the camp and the players believe in themselves. We all as the team took the responsibility to say we are better than the results we are getting.”

United have won twice, drew four times and lost four matches in the league so far.

Igesund made an immediate impact after taking over from Cavin Johnson last season, winning the Telkom Knockout.

The defending champions won their last two games and look to carry this momentum into the Tshwane derby against Mamelodi Sundows on Saturday.
