Mthembu stepped up to take a penalty after Pirates man Thandani Ntshumayelo’s spot kick went wide at goal to the delight of Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo and Amakhosi fans.
He would have scored what was to be the winning penalty, but he missed it.
Sangweni came close to converting his penalty, but it hit the crossbar, handing Chiefs a first class ticket to the Telkom Knockout final.
Football fans showed their humorous nature on the subject via social media.
I do believe I would have forgiven Siyabonga Sangweni by next week Thursday
I'll probably never forgive Gabuza though

After that kick, Siyabonga Sangweni becomes a shoo-in for a Springbok flyhalf otherwise #HeynekeMustFall.

The Words in the picture are Sangweni’s “explanation” on the flight of the ball, “I tried directing it this way but it moved in another direction.”
Nkatha created scoring opportunity and scored goals when it matters most but King Mthembu he has never done anything for the team.
