Myeni wants Pirates to use Kasi style against Sahel

Returning Orlando Pirates midfielder wants the Buccaneers to play to their strength against Etoile du Sahel on Saturday in the Caf confederations Cup final.

Pirates players are known for using skill and flair to exploit spaces in the opposition half in an attempt to create goal scoring opportunities.

With the imminent return of Myeni and the availability of Pirates’ skills general Thabo Rakhale, the Soweto giants are expected to put on a show against the Tunisians.

Myeni believes that their trickery can bring them numerical advantage as well.

“We want to do it (play with skill). That’s how we play. When you play this type of team, they don’t want that, they want you to play direct football,” said Myeni.

“Immediately you start dribbling they get frustrated and that will benefit us, they will start kicking you and end up getting a red card and they will be a man short.”
