However, he maintained that they are not thinking about winning the league at this stage, after seeing his side defeat Bidvest Wits 2-1 at the Bidvest Stadium to go on top of the table with 30 points, with one point difference to that of Wits on Friday evening.

“I think we can go really far, but we are not thinking about winning the league, we haven’t spoken about it at the moment. We really want to win the quarter, we lost it the last time after the game against Chiefs (Kaizer).”

“I think the boys deserved it, we really want to win this quarter. We want to enjoy our play, we want to have a certain style of play. Some times counter attacking, some times keeping ball possession and I think the team is learning more and more to do that, even though there are some mistakes now and then. I think the team at this pointing time if the start believing in themselves they will go very far.”

Black Aces came back from a goal down in the first 10 minutes of the game, but veteran striker was there to save them, as he begged his 10th league goal after scoring a brace on the night.
