According to a source, Orlando Pirates are set to put striker Thabiso Kutumela on loan, following a fruitless maiden season with the Buccaneers.

The 23-year-old has not impressed coach Kjell Jonevret and is said to be the fourth-choice striker at the club behind Ayanda Nkosi.

“The names are out and we heard that Thabiso is among the players who will be sent on loan. I think he will go to Chippa United, but we still have to wait and see what happens at Chippa since they are not in a good position in the league,” said the source.

Kutumela is a former National First Division (NFD) top scorer with 18 goals to his name which helped Baroka win the 2015/2016 NFD.
