Don’t lose your bearings

A crowd of onlookers stood close to the Ferrobank off-ramp were a white Golf and mini-bus collided.

On Saturday February 15, emergency services rushed to another accident scene to find two vehicles. The white Volkswagen Golf found on scene seemed still to be intact, apart from the back axle that had been twisted and broken off. The mini-bus showed damage on its left front side.

“It seems this Golf was coming from the highway and the driver wanted to turn right into the street,” one of the bystanders at the scene said. The mini-bus was allegedly heading straight towards the bridge and off-ramp. “I don’t know if the driver of the Golf did not see the oncoming vehicle or perhaps misjudged how far away it was when it turned…”

Three people were seriously injured and transported to the hospital by Langamed Emergency Management.
