‘Snoopy’ shop raises donations for orphanage

Witbank Momentum office recently donated clothes, food, toiletries and other items to a centre in KwaGuqa.

The donation was presented to the Mother of All Centre in Thushanang, KwaGuqa on Monday, August 18. The centre is under the care of Ms Angie Sibanyoni.

Witbank Momentum was given R1 000 as capital to start a snoopy. Chocolates, sweets, snacks, cold drinks and sometimes hot dogs are found at the small shop.

“Mostly customers would be from the surrounding offices like Amadwala and Careways, even brokers coming from Momentum offices would stop by to buy some snacks. This was convenient snack corner for all the employees of the Pentagon House. It was due to such loyal and faithful customers that the target reached in order to buy the gifts for the orphanage in KwaGuqa.

A big thank you goes to all the customers’ gracious support at the snoopy. Further big thanks to all the Momentum Witbank staff, especially Johanna Mthimunye managing most of the task in order to make this donation a reality. Any donation of food or blankets is welcome anytime,” reads a statement from Momentum office.
