Mitsubishi SA expands Pajero Sport range with the introduction of the Exceed model

Mitsubishi South Africa is expanding its Pajero Sport line-up with the introduction of the Exceed model.
At the same time, Mitsubishi has also refreshed the Pajero Sport line-up and all models feature a new Dynamic Shield front grille, new features, and additional luxuries.
Starting with the Exceed model, it boasts a 2.4-litre Turbodiesel engine with 133 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque plus an 8-speed automatic transmission. It is only available in 4×4 format.
The Pajero Sport Exceed offers all the built-in safety features inherent of the Mitsubishi brand, and like the standard 4×4 version, is paired with Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II system which delivers performance in the most challenging driving conditions and rugged terrain.
The selectable Off-Road Modes maximises traction on and across various surfaces.
The Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand or Rock setting can be selected to suit surface conditions to optimise engine output, transmission settings and braking for superior traction control.
Speaking of the refreshed Pajero Sport models, they now come with a new grille, new 18-inch alloy wheel designs as well as repositioned side steps.
The rear comes fitted with a tweaked design on the bumper and rear diffuser. The shorter LED rear combination lamps, rear park distance control and the rear spoiler are standard.
On the Exceed version, an electric tailgate with dual kick sensors is available. Inside, the centre console, soft padded door and knee trim have been upgraded.
There’s also a new 8-inch LCD meter cluster in full colour as well as an 8-inch SDA. There is an 8-inch smart link display with Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility.
The 2020 Pajero Sport colour palette has been extended by two hues: White Diamond and Graphite Grey.
Like the Exceed, all Pajero Sport models are equipped with a 2.4-litre Turbodiesel engine with 133 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque plus an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Warranty and service
The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has a 3-year/100 000km manufacturer’s warranty and a 5-year/90 000km service plan with 10 000km service intervals.
