SEVENTEEN students from KZN and the Eastern Cape have been selected for the prestigious Indian Council for Cultural Relations scholarships.

SEVENTEEN students from KZN and the Eastern Cape have been selected for the prestigious Indian Council for Cultural Relations scholarships.

All 17 have opted for undergraduate degrees in areas like psychology, accounting, industrial relations, journalism, law, computer sciences and tourism at major Indian universities.

The courses start in June and July. “Thobile Chonco from Umlazi, who won the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship, has opted for a course in the cutting-edge science of Bio-Technology at the University of Pune … ,” said Sally Farrell of the Indian Consulate.
