Municipal cleaners remove coloured balls from the Spanish Steps and the Barcaccia fountain after a man identified as Graziano Cecchini dumped what he said were some 500 000 balls down the steps, in Rome, yesterday. Cecchini is known for having dyed Rome’s world famous Trevi Fountain red in October last year.
