The alleged Brookside Mall instigator, Ndumiseni Khetha Zuma’s (35), trial has been postponed again after the defence requested for more time.
Zuma appeared in the Pietermaritzburg regional court on Thursday where the three-day trial was due to start.
The state had been ready to proceed.
During the court proceedings, the defence made an application for an adjournment, stating that they required more time to consult with Zuma and finalise their instructions.
The request was approved and the matter was postponed to September 1 for trial.
Zuma’s family was also present in court but refused to give interviews regarding the postponements.
