Two farmers were shot outside their factory on Old Wartburg Road, outside Wartburg, on Friday morning.
It is alleged that the two farmers, who are also the owners of the Nanxing Brick and Tile, were approaching the factory when two unknown men shot at their car.
A police source said that one of the owners was injured on the arm.
Cramond police officers were also requested to attend the scene.
uMgungundlovu District police spokesperson Sergeant Sifiso Gwala confirmed the shooting and said details around the matter will be investigated.
