Caretaker Bafana Bafana coach Helman Mkhalele will have a youthful combination for the African Nations Championship (Chan) first round, second leg against Comoros at Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday.

The kick-off is 3 pm at the Johannesburg venue and follows the South Africans’ 1-0 win in the first leg of this fixture in the development competition.

Mkhalele has retained the bulk of the players from the opening match, where there was a goal from Khulekani Shezi in the second half, and says he will urge them to “finish the job here at home” as quickly and efficiently as possible on Saturday.

Mkhalele said in a statement:

I have brought in five new players to add to that squad which played away because some of our players who featured in the first leg were ruled out due to injuries.

The squad includes Royal AM defender Khulekani Shezi, AmaZulu goalkeeper Olwethu Mzimela and Uthongathi midfielder Kagiso Shezi, in terms of players from KwaZulu-Natal clubs.
