Five great part time jobs for moms
Having a part-time job can afford you time with your children at home while earning some money for your family.
The advantages are that you’ll have more flexibility to work while being available for your family’s needs. It also gives you the time to attend your children’s extra mural activities and you can gain experience in any career that interests you with a view to joining it full time later if that’s what you want to do.
While part-time jobs do not offer full employee benefits such as health insurance or paid leave, they can fill in the gap allowing you to transition from being a full time mom to eventually working on a normal schedule.

This job will require you to be ready for work at any time, as the school may call you unexpectedly at times.

How to get ready in the morning with a demanding toddler
Waking up can feel like an adventure on its own so adding a small child to the mix can really shake up your whole routine.
While there is no perfect formula to getting ready in the mornings with a fussy toddler around, you can definitely settle into a structure that will work for you and your child, enabling you to be at work on time and have your toddler ready for pre-school.
Routine
This is key to establishing a structure that will form the basis of your mornings. Wake up at the same time every day and decide on which order will make it simpler and faster for you to get yourself ready and your toddler. Ask older siblings to help by preparing breakfast and getting themselves ready on time.
Time
Keep the whole family in the loop by regularly informing them of the time. These updates will have everyone on their toes and aware of the necessity to stick to schedule.
Alarm
Use an alarm clock with a sound. This will jolt you into action, avoiding any temptation to snooze or to delay wake up time.
Positivity
Stay positive and excited about the day ahead as you get ready. Your positive energy will set the pace for the rest of the day.
Plan ahead
Lay out outfits for your toddler and yourself the night before, pack lunchboxes before heading to bed and take a shower before bed so you can minimise the time needed to get ready in the morning while being prepared for the next day.
