Animal welfare running out of food

Help feed the animals at Richards Bay SPCA.

SPCA Richards Bay is desperately calling on the community for support through an emergency food drive.

The non-profit organisation says it is currently struggling with a ‘bare minimum’ of stock.

‘Any donations of dog food pellets, mostly for adults but also a few bags for puppies, would really be much appreciated as we’re quickly running out of food for the neglected, abused and surrendered pooches boarding here,’ said SPCA Richards Bay Anna-Mare.

‘The SPCA is ever reliant on the public for assistance to help care for animals in need.’

Food can be dropped off at the Richards Bay SPCA between 9am and 3pm on Bayview Boulevard street in Meerensee or the Zululand Observer Richards Bay offices on Lira Link (next to Virgin Active) between 8am and 4.30pm.
