Get back in Santa’s good books

Here is a list of charities in Zululand that need your help.

WITH Christmas only a few week’s away, it is time to reflect and determine whether you are on Santa’s good or naughty list. If you have somehow landed on the wrong side, you still have time to impress him.

Step 1: List good and bad deeds

Divide your paper into “Good” and “Bad” columns. Then try to list everything you’ve done this year. Now you can see where you stand with Santa at a glance. If the “Bad” column is longer than the good, you need to get to work.

Step 2: Count days until Christmas

Get a calendar and count how many days there are between now and Christmas to figure out how much time you have left to impress Santa.

LIST

Start putting your plan into action.

1. Greet a stranger with a smile.

2. Clean your closet and give away what you don’t need.

3. From now on, be early for work.

4. Go to bed, knowing you have done all your work.

5. Make your boss (and colleagues) some coffee.

6. Be the last to leave the office.

7. Volunteer to help others.

8. Share what you have with the less fortunate.

9. Treat people equally.

10. Love, laugh and love some more.

Remember it is important to keep your good behavior going after Christmas.

Why not register with a charity in your area and volunteer on the weekends.
