The Primrose police arrested 37 suspects between October 3 and 9.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, possession of suspected stolen property, fraud, reckless and negligent driving, house break-in and theft, possession of drugs, common robbery, sexual assault, child neglect, shoplifting, warrant of arrest and contempt of court

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
