Rapid sales propel Seaton Estate beyond R800-million mark

The majority (93%) of the estate land is now spoken for, with international buyers as far as Switzerland, Germany and the USA securing their slice of the pie.

Seaton Estate’s latest release of new land sold out over the Easter weekend, generating sales of R100-million in just 10 days.

The land (within Precinct H) featured 63 stands starting at R1-million.

This was followed by the launch of the Serrano development comprising of 21 exclusive residences, made up of condos, units, duets and villas, starting from R3.9-million.

Geoff Perkins of Collins Residential said the overwhelming demand for this latest precinct spoke volumes about the strong demand for property on the North Coast.

“These rapid sales have propelled the total of Seaton Estate sales beyond the R800-million mark, solidifying our position as an unrivalled offering in residential property,” said Perkins.

Perkins said this unprecedented sales spree defied current market trends, highlighting the insatiable demand for premium real estate in the region.

“While the current semigration trend exists in SA, it’s crucial to recognise the positive stories unfolding in our country, particularly on KZN’s North Coast, where we continually witness a growing number of national and international buyers leaving their mark.

These international buyers, in particular, are not only individuals with ties to South Africa but also those who have visited for leisure or business and have fallen in love with the region’s offerings,” he said.

Several factors favour Seaton Estate, with its prime location being the most prominent, a stone’s throw from what may soon be one of the most significant travel and tourism developments in South Africa – Club Med South Africa Beach and Bush. The resort is also to be developed by Collins Residential (and partners).

One of the main attractions of Seaton Estate is its access to the one kilometre stretch of Christmas Bay’s pristine coastline, complemented by beautiful nearby beaches at Blythedale, Salt Rock, Willard and Thompson’s Bay.

Despite the ongoing tribulations faced with water quality by nearby municipalities, the status of the beaches on the North Coast remains perfect.
