Vryheid Rugby Club played their first NKZN league games over the weekend.
Both the first and second teams won their respective games.
The second team was a little bit disjointed and the game was a tit-for-tat spectacle. However, they held it together enough to pull through with a 36-29 win.
The first team was more clinical and the Bears had no answers for the Maroon Machine. The score would have been a lot higher if it had not been for a couple of unforced errors and two yellow cards for the Vryheid team.
After all was said and done, the first team walked away with a comfortable 63-10 victory.
