No injuries reported in Mooikloof house fire

A fire at a house in Mooikloof caused quite a commotion on Thursday evening. Here is more information about the incident.

A blaze erupted at a Mooikloof house on Thursday night, igniting a commotion and concern.

According to Ward councillor Malcolm De Klerk, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is suspected to be a candle. 

Tshwane Emergency Services spokesperson Charles Mabaso said they received a notification about the fire at approximately 21:45. 

We were later informed that the fire had been extinguishedno firefighting resources were required, and dispatched resources were called back to base.” 

He added that a Fire Safety officer has been assigned to investigate the cause of the fire. 

SA Candle Supply reminded the public that candles are an open flame with the potential risk of fire-related accidents.
