The Toyota Easter Festival hosted at Kyalami Park Club in April brought together equestrian riders across the Gauteng region to showcase unparalleled excellence.
The show is synonymous with bringing about heart-pounding adrenaline, intense focus, fierce fitness, a serene, tranquil mind, and a remarkable degree of trust and communication between horse and rider.

Glover Paddocks were determined to set a standard at the competition, with their most experienced riders competing in the show jumping classes from 60cm to 1.50m, determined to place in the top positions.
In the adult division, Tasmin Maher and her horse Leoni’s Secret excelled in the 1.30m class, securing two fifth-place finishes. Their consistent performance highlighted their growing partnership and skill in the arena.
The junior riders also made a significant impact, with notable performances across various classes. Chris Prinsloo and Brandenburg Classique stood out in the Junior 1.30m class. Julia Priest and Locarno First Lady impressed in the Junior 1.10m class.
Leanè du Plessis and Landor’s Limitless delivered a strong performance in the Junior 1m class. In the junior 80cm class, Angie Grab and Abydos Wally achieved an impressive second, sixth, and third place in the championships.
Michaela Humphery and Eligius also showcased their talent, securing 11th place in the championships.
Head instructor Kerryn Maher commended the riders for their outstanding performances and their consistency during their practices, which was demonstrated through their precision and skill for their coursework.
