Parents of children attending Klopperpark Primary School are picking up their children from school following unconfirmed reports, shared on social media, of schools being under threat.

Capt Andre de Jager from Bedfordview SAPS said no reports of violence or looting have been reported in Klopperpark.

The follows the outbreak of violent protests in Johannesburg.
