According to an SAPS statement, an explosive device was detonated inside the premises of Money Point at approximately 5pm.

According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “A man walked into the store during the afternoon with a bag carrying an explosive device. The device was detonated shortly thereafter, blowing out the windows and glass doors while at least five people were still inside.”
According to an SAPS statement, an explosive device was detonated inside the premises of Money Point at approximately 5pm.
Two people were confirmed dead and three others were injured.
SAPS provincial spokesperson, Brigadier Neville Malila addressed the media about last nights bombing at the premises of Money Point, corner Bradford and Nicol Roads in Bedfordview.
