Hyundai Rock the Road Race

Staff and pupils of Bishop Bavin School participated in the Hyundai Rock the Road race on March 16.

Chantal Mongwaketse, Tumelo Kgano , Moloko Mawela, Nombuso Mahlangu, Natasha Manda, Mr Darren Booysen, Mrs Angelique Booysen, Mrs Karen Ehlers, Ms Waidy Abdull, Ms Kayleigh Wessels, Ms Ntabiseng Llale and Mrs Samantha Pringle all competed in the 10 kilometre race.

Involved in the 21 kilometre race were Victor Sibuyi, Abe Pooe, Jerry Kekana and Tshepiso Mashinini.

Jerry was the best performer for Bishop Bavin School on the day, finishing the 21 kilometre race in a time of 1:55:00 and emerging first in the age 10 to 15 category.
