Youth leaders shine at Modderfontein Toastmasters
The girls took part in the meeting and were awarded for Best Prepared Speaker of the Day and Best Impromptu Speaker.
Modderfontein Breakfast Toastmaster Club hosted a few girls from Holy Rosary School at its meeting on July 12.
The girls took part in the meeting and were awarded for Best Prepared Speaker of the Day and Best Impromptu Speaker.
The award for Best Speaker was won by Kelsey Korras.
Kathryn Bennett walked away with the Best Impromptu Speaker award.
The Youth Leadership programme has been developed by Toastmasters International, which develops young people’s speaking and leadership skills, as well as encouraging self-confidence.
This programme is run over a period of eight weeks within schools and youth groups.
